At the end of last term all the children at Froebelian were
given £1 and challenged to make this money 'grow' in aid of our school charity;
The Children's Heart Surgery Fund. |
Some children even began their enterprise before the term
finished by making and selling yummy brownies and holding a colouring
competition. Whilst others made use of the holiday to wash cars, create yummy
snacks to sell to family, friends and parent's work colleagues or to plan for
the Easter Enterprise Sale. |
On Tuesday 15th April we held our Easter Enterprise Sale in
the school hall with a myriad of stalls and activities organised and staffed by
pupils (ably assisted by Mums, Dads, Grannies and Grandpas.) |
The attractions included sales of sunflower plants, stalls
selling homemade cakes, buns, biscuits and smoothies, treasure map games, word
search competitions, a bran tub, guess the number of sweets in a jar, art and
craft stalls and you could even get a tattoo...shh, don't show Mrs Staniland! |
The sale was enormously well attended and thoroughly enjoyed
by stallholders and customers alike. Many children departed with their pockets
bulging with delicious treats. |
