On June
2nd Froebelian pupils (Form IV and Form III) went on a trip to
Scarborough for the day.
Firstly
Form IV went into a museum to see some interesting fossils. Form III went to
the Brunswick Shopping Centre and asked a few questions in the Tourist
Information Centre, we picked up a lot of leaflets. Then Mr Saunders took a
group down to a roundabout near the centre to do a traffic survey. After we
had recorded all our results for 10 minutes we went back towards the
Brunswick Centre. We asked passers by a few question about Scarborough’s
transport; four people shoved passed Adam and me, but never mind. We
returned back inside and asked a few questions in the shops.
Then it
was time to head down to the beach for lunch. It was no ordinary lunch; it
was fish and chips, mmm!
Form
III then split up and in my group there was Adam, Katie, Emma and Phoebe, we
did some field sketching. Then we went down onto the beach and had a sand
sculpture competition, my team was Amelia B, Francesca H, Eleanor and Adam
and we built a volcano called Mount Feja. After that we all got a delicious
ice cream, I had chocolate sauce on mine…and then we were off back to
school.
