The Autumn term was a very busy one for music, with
performances by the Form 1/11 Singing group, Recorder Consort, Choir and
various soloists during assemblies.
In October, the Choir performed for a re-union of
ex-Froebelian pupils, pre 1960, and the singing of the School song brought
back many memories for them.
December brought a fantastic performance of It’s a
Cracker by the Pre-prep Department and the Juniors sang and played in the
Carol Service to produce outstanding music for everyone to hear and enjoy.
Many of the Juniors sang carols on Horsforth Green
where we met Father Christmas and raised money for our charity, Sparks.
Forms 111 and 1V went Carol Singing to bring some
Christmas cheer to the residents of Warwick Court and The Willows. The
children enjoyed the experience and we have been invited back next year.
Well done everyone!
