Four Froebelian Winners at the Broughton Hall Children’s Literature Festival
We are enjoying taking part in the Broughton Hall Children’sLiterature Festival this year and delighted to announce that we have four winners in the short story competition.
Placing 1st and 2nd in the Y3/4 category and two pupils with joint first place in the Y5/6 category each winner was awarded with free tickets for festival workshops and are looking forward to seeing their stories published in the Autumn.
Our Lower Kindergarten children aged 3 and 4 and our Form III (Year 5) have also created a Highway Rat (From Julia Donaldson’s book of the same name)  scarecrow for the scarecrow trail part of the festival with help from Mrs Giles.
If you would like to attend the Broughton Hall Children’sLiterature Festival on the weekend of 29th – 30th  September. There area number of events to choose from and if you book between 9th  and 13th

The Froebelian Flyers

This year we have introduced Froebelian Flyers. Each week staff nominate pupils who they believe have best met the characteristics of one of the flyers.
