Froebelian Pupil Ranked 1st Place

Year 6 pupil at The Froebelian School, Horsforth is celebrating having been ranked first place in the recent entrance exam for The Crossley Heath School in Halifax.

The test, taken by 1224 entrants in a joint admissions system with North Halifax Grammar School, for one of 360 places available, comprised three parts: English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning.

Headteacher Catherine Dodds said: “We are incredibly proud. He is an outstanding pupil who has developed a solid range of learning skills and attitudes which have served him well in these entrance assessments. We are confident that he will continue to thrive when he reaches senior school, after his flying start at Froebelian.”

The Crossley Heath School is an 11–18 mixed, high performing, grammar school and sixth form with academy status in Halifax.
