Award Winning Chef, Matthew Brown, Revolutionises The Froebelian School Menu
 
From Field to Froebelian

We are delighted to welcome award winning Chef Matthew Brown to the Froebelian Family.
For nearly three decades ‘Chef Matty’ has been creating incredible menus in both the commercial and educational sector of hospitality.

So, when Headteacher, Mrs Coulson asked him to join the Froebelian Family and create a delicious, healthy and exciting new menu for the school, we were delighted when he accepted the challenge!

Mrs Coulson said: “Chef Matty has revolutionised our commitment to nutrition at Froebelian.   He met with the ‘Froebelian Foodies’ – a panel made up of children and staff – and asked everyone what they love to eat.  He then looked at and scrutinised the choices alongside the nutritional guidelines for schools and also looked at providing tasty alternatives for our diverse needs within the school family.”

She continued: “Chef Matty’s gentle and informal approach is underpinned by his professionalism and commitment to nutrition.”

Chef Matty added: “I feel incredibly lucky to be creating exciting and nutritious meals for the children and staff at Froebelian. The children are at the heart of every decision made by the Kitchen Team and their opinions and feedback are truly valuable.”

And the results are speaking for themselves:
