Leeds Homeless Christmas Shoebox Appeal

We are delighted to be supporting the Leeds Homeless Christmas Shoebox Appeal once again this year, who provide Christmas gift boxes to those less fortunate in Leeds.

Last year, with your support, we were able to provide over 60 people in need people with essential items.

Shoeboxes can be brought into your child’s classroom between now and Thursday 7 December.

Step 1: Cover a shoebox with festive paper (making sure it can be opened easily).

Step 2: Fill it with essential items (see attached poster).

Step 3: Bring them into school and hand them to your teacher, before Thursday 7 December so that they can be passed on to homeless and vulnerable people in Leeds.

Boxes can be made gender-neutral, or gender – specific. There are slightly more male than female recipients so please bear this in mind. Please ensure the lids and boxes are wrapped separately in Christmas paper so they can be opened and checked. Don’t worry if you can’t get every single item listed – any combination is really appreciated.

The shoeboxes are being collected by the charity, so we won’t be able to accept boxes after the deadline date.

Thank you again for your continued support.
