Anna Coulson, Executive Headteacher of the prestigious Froebelian School in Horsforth, Leeds will be taking centre stage at this year’s Developing Future Winners event at Headingley Stadium on the 3rd July 2023.

Hosted by former England and Great Britain Rugby League Captain, Jamie Peacock MBE and Anna Coulson – cricketing legends Lord Botham OBE and Michael Brearley MBE will return to the scene of iconic 1981 Headingley triumph ahead of this year’s Ashes Test.

The brainchild of Sarah Botham, daughter of Ian, the fourth Developing Future Winners conference seeks to inspire the next generation, using life experience to demonstrate how businesses can build a great working environment for our younger generations. Helping to focus their motivation, resilience and drive all while looking after their mental and physical wellbeing.

Anna Coulson said: “The health and well-being of children is critical in helping the transition from education into the workplace.  As a National Educational Leader and having worked in education for 24 years, I founded Developing Future Winners having identified the need to bring schools and businesses together to ensure a healthy and successful future for everyone.”
She continued: “As Executive Headteacher at The Froebelian School I am extremely proud to be celebrating the event with our pupils and I am so excited for their performance which will bring to a close what is anticipated to be a fantastic, future focussed event.”
Sarah Botham added: “Building on the unprecedented success of three last three events, this time Ian and Michael will be taking you back to arguably the most iconic Test Match of all time; the 1981 Ashes win at Headingley. Ladbrokes had the Australians as 500 – 1 favourites. Ian “Beefy” Botham had just resigned as captain due to a lack of form and Michael Brearley was back in the captain’s seat. Michael’s clear thinking, belief in his actions and in his team, accompanied by resilience, determination and passion, turned a sinking ship into a victorious battleship.”

Developing Future Winners is an eight-hour event split into three sessions where you will hear from one of our speakers and have a chance to pose questions to them. In the final session there will be a practical exercise where our panel will be on hand to offer advice and help you plan to achieve the best possible outcome.
