Our U11 Rugby Team travelled to Knaresborough RFC to participate in the Tag Rugby Cup competition hosted by Brackenfield School. After a slow start in their opening game they then put together back to back wins against teams from Gateways, Cundall Manor and Brackenfield. This qualified them for the final where they would face Ghyll Royd, a team who they had lost to in their opening game. The team put in an excellent performance in the final but were unfortunate to lose to a “golden try” after the scores had been level at full time.
