The U11 Froebelian football team put in a fantastic performance at the U11 Premier League Primary Stars Football competition organised by Leeds United Foundation. The team demonstrated terrific teamwork, spirit and skill to finish top of their group with a record of three wins and one draw. This meant they qualified for the final stages with the best overall record of any team! After an exciting 2-2 draw against Calverly Parkside the team held their nerve and won the resulting penalty shoot out. This left them with one match between them and qualifying for the finals day to be held at Leeds United’s training ground . The team played another great match against strong opposition but despite taking the lead it ended as a 1-1 draw. This time the team ended up on the wrong end of the penalty shootout.  Despite their obvious disappointment they could be proud of their achievement and performances throughout the competition. Well done Team!
